This winter let’s start pampering our strands of love with some amazing masks and natural game-changers. Winters for hair can be annoying and can wreak havoc leading to breakage and dandruff. Some precautions along with a little effort can help keep your strands fabulous year long. The top-notch advice by our old ladies rock again making hair look even younger and stunning.
After trying various methods, here are some tips and tricks to help keep your tresses beautiful and strong.
1. Try some easy homemade hair masks.
To get rid of dandruff, prepare a mask, add a spoon of apple cider vinegar to two spoons of fresh yogurt. Apply the mask once a week thoroughly to your scalp and after keeping it for an hour or so, wash it gently.
For healthy and smooth hair, prepare a mask adding one teaspoon of honey to a cup of raw and thick milk. Apply the mask and massage it well on the scalp and after 30 minutes wash it with Luke warm water.
You can also make a paste of curry leaves and add a spoon of yogurt in it and apply it to the roots of your strands. After leaving it for 30 minutes, rinse it and use a mild shampoo to wash your hair.
2. Use a wooden comb.
Using plastic combs can charge your hair making it more fragile and will cause excessive breakage. Wooden combs here become the solution to this problem. It provides protection against the charging of hair and hence, reduces breakage. Satin or silk pillow covers also help in preventing hair breakage.
3. Hot Oil and Towel Treatment.
Take a small bowl of any suitable oil such as coconut oil, olive oil, mustard oil, etc. and boil it using the boiler method. Apply and massage your scalp well with it in a clockwise and anti-clockwise motion.
Dip a towel in a bucket of hot water, bring the excessive water out of towel and wrap your hair with that hot towel immediately. After 30 minutes, wash your hair with a natural shampoo.
4. Create your own natural oil.
Take a small bowl of coconut oil or any other oil you prefer. Add 4–5 curry leaves in it, add a dried beetle leaf and some hibiscus leaves in it, let the bowl of oil along with other ingredients boil for a while as per the boiler method. Apply the lukewarm oil on your scalp and massage well.
You can also add some natural oils after removing it from the boiler such as tea tree oil, rosemary oil, etc.
5. Balanced Diet.
A balanced diet ensures vital nutrients for hair growth and strength. A diet rich in proteins, green leafy vegetables and anti-oxidants is always recommended. A good metabolism can lead to better health of your hair and body. A balanced diet in some or the other way helps to reduce stress and maintain peace with your body.
A good sleep along with a balanced diet can be a full-proof mantra for healthy and growing hairs.
6. Protect your hair against pollution and UV rays.
Try to cover your hair with a thin scarf to prevent them from polluted air and excessive UV rays as these can cause premature greying and breaking of hair. The scarf must not be a thick piece of clothing but something in which your hair can breathe.
Healthy hair care tips can actually help you. Always try the masks and oils on a small patch of your skin before applying it to check reactions or allergies before actually applying it on your scalp.

Domestic violence is a curse and dirt on the Indian society where on one hand, woman is even travelling to space, running successful businesses and on the other hand, they are tortured in their homes, which is considered to be the safest place for her.
Violence is not only tolerated by a wife but also her children. These witnesses develop some serious mental issues and academic problems as well. They tend to use violence as their weapons. They even tend to commit crimes, attempt suicides, consume drugs etc.
This is the future of our country!!! Nine out of ten women are victims of domestic violence, so are their children.
